Happsy Mattress Review
Sleep is a vital part of all of our lives that helps our system to reboot. After a tiring day, everybody needs a comfortable mattress to enjoy a good night rest and hopefully even have some sweet dreams. Happsy is an organic hybrid mattress that is new to the market but has already made quite a splash. This eco-friendly mattress is made from 100% natural latex and cotton. It very much deserves your attention, possibly more than some of the more established mattress brands out there that are starting to slip from the top.
Comfort and Feel
The Happsy mattress is made with all-natural latex. There are many mattress companies claim to green, but Happsy is one of the few who actually deliver. Latex mattresses are a hybrid of both innerspring and memory foam mattresses. They contour to the body like memory foam, but without trapping sleepers. They are also bouncy like an innerspring mattress. Simply put, latex mattress offer the best characteristics of innerspring and memory foam. Happsy has a firm feel, but sleepers who prefer a plush feel can choose to add the latex topper. It is an add on available for an additional cost.

Most people buy their mattresses without even considering edge support. If you share a bed with a partner and don’t like rolling off in the middle of the night, edge support should play a major role in your mattress shopping. The edge support of the Happsy mattress is quite good. Pocketed coils provide strong support all the way the edge of the mattress. Happsy ensures you won’t ever feel like you are sliding off the edge of your mattress. That’s important. Even if you never thought about it before now.
Edge Support Rating: 4.45/5
Happsy mattress did their best to isolate motion on their mattress, but Latex mattress just aren’t made for this feature. There is no guarantee you won’t experience motion from your partner when sleeping. It depends on the level of motion and your partner. This mattress won’t do much to minimize motion transfer, so it’s up to you now.
Motion Transfer Rating: 2.65/5
This is an aspect of mattresses that people tend to give more importance than necessary. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying you should buy a mattress that has a strong smell. That would be a problem. My point is that all mattress off-gass. It’s unavoidable. What matters most is the strength of the odour and also how long it takes to disperse. Many mattress companies make an effort to reduce the odour to the bare minimum. Happsy is one of these companies. The off-gas from their mattress smells fairly mild and dissipates after a few days. Make sure to open the mattress in a well-ventilated room to ensure that the off-gassing process goes by as quickly as possible.
Off-Gassing Rating: 4.65/5
Latex mattresses generally are able to breath well. This as a result of latex’s open cell structure, which allows for easy circulation of air in and out of the mattress. In addition, the Happsy mattress has a cotton cover. Cotton wicks moisture and absorbs heat. Coupled with the great air flow of latex foam, you should find that the two balance each other out. Anyone using a Happsy mattress can expect a cool and comfortable sleep, regardless of the season or temperature.

Happsy mattresses are are compressed, rolled and shipped in a box. After removal from the box, it takes 30 minutes for the mattress to be ready for use and several days for the mattress to fully expand. After unboxing, customers are advised to keep the box in case they return the mattress.
Unlike some companies, Happsy delivers to customers anywhere in the U.S, including Alaska and Hawaii. There is no charge for standard delivery to the lower 48 states in the U.S, but delivery to Alaska and Hawaii will incur a fee. Mattresses are delivered through either UPS or Fedex and arrive within 2-3 working days. These partners will also remove old mattress.

One of the primary reason I chose to review Happsy, along with every other product on this site, is because it utilizes organic, natural, CertiPUR-US Certified foams. This mattress uses organic cotton, wool, and latex.
CertiPUR-US certified foams are:
✓ Made without ozone depleters.
✓ Made without PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP (”Tris”) flame retardants.
✓ Made without mercury, lead, and other heavy metals.
✓ Made without formaldehyde.
✓ Made without phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
✓ Made with Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million).
Many people might be wondering what is so special about natural latex. Latex is a material gotten from the sap of a rubber tree and possesses elasticity. So technically it is this elasticity that allows the mattress to conform to the shape of the body. Latex also has a quick response to pressure, providing the sleeper with some pleasant lift that’ll position them r “on top” of the bed as opposed to “in” it. Latex is also fantastic at cooling. Thisnot only provides comfort to sleepers, also makes sure the mattress doesn’t trap heat. This is as a result of latex’s open cell structure, which allows for the easy movement of air in and out of the mattress. Latex mattresses are also ideal for people with musculoskeletal ailments as it helps relieve back pain.
Happsy’s foundation layer is made up of 8” of pocketed springs which runs from edge to edge. These coils provide excellent edge support and ensure that you will not fall off the edge. Pocketed coils are known to primarily provide support in mattresses, they also provide comfort and ensure that the mattress has a quicker bounce back when pressure is released on the mattress. It doubles down on the bounce of the latex comfort layer, endowing the structure with a buoyant lift.
Finally, there is the cover which is crafted out of a knit organic cotton blend. Cotton is comfortable, hypoallergenic, and highly breathable. It is the icing on this comfy mattress cake.

Jill Thompson (sleepadvisor.org) gave a generous rating of 9/10 and wrote:
“For Happsy, a better Earth does not stop at the mattress edge. The company has overhauled their business end to end to source the best materials, obtain the strictest environmental certifications, and ensure fair labor practices.
The hybrid’s versatile firmness will appeal to wide range of sleepers, and the quality materials and affordable price sets Happsy apart both within the eco-friendly market and beyond. Similar constructions in the retail space would cost three times the $1,199 of a Queen-sized Happsy.
Happsy’s risk-free 100-night risk-free offer gives you a great opportunity to get a more organic night’s sleep while investing in a cleaner world”
Daniel, a Happsy customer, wrote:
“Overall, the Happsy organic mattress is an excellent choice if you want a medium-firm mattress that can provide you with bot comfort and support with the added benefit of containing no harmful chemicals or artificial materials. It is also one of the most affordable all-natural mattresses currently available. You can also rest easy knowing that even if something goes wrong with your mattress or you decide that it’s not the right choice for you, all you need to do is contact the Happsy customer service department (which is staffed with people who are knowledgeable about not just mattresses but also sleep needs as well), and they will work hard to resolve the situation to your satisfaction. Additionally, the four month trial period should give you ample time to decide whether or not the Happsy is the right choice for you”
Overall Value and Recommendation
Some people prefer a firm mattress while other prefer a plush mattress. There are only a few mattresses that can provide these two comfort levels, and Happsy is one of them. The is also an organic mattress, which is desirable for customers who live an eco-friendly life. Ontop of all of that, the price is below average when compared to other mattresses of this caliber. The Queen size costs $1,399 with no topper and $1,798 with topper. Other mattresses cost an average of $1,648 for the same queen size. Not bad at all, huh?
