Nectar, the USA’s fastest-growing e-commerce mattress company, is launching in the UK and continuing its rapid expansion.

Launched in 2016 with a vision to make the most comfortable mattress money can buy, Nectar currently sells 1,000 mattresses a day in the US and has taken the direct-to-consumer sector by force, with a revenue run rate of $315m.
The UK mattress market, currently worth an estimated £2.3bn[1], and online share is predicted to grow by 23 per cent[2] by 2021. This has led to a succession of new entrants to the category and Nectar is looking to introduce its consumer-centric business model and high-quality ‘bed in a box’ product to grab significant market share in the UK.
Operating as Nectar Sleep, the UK business will focus on catering to changing consumer demand for convenience and environmentally-friendly products, sold exclusively online.
Key innovations include a market-leading 365-night trial and forever warranty for its custom-made mattress, boasting a patented Adaptive® Cooling Cover and four-layer design. Manufactured in Nottinghamshire, it will also be the only climate neutral mattress available on the UK market[3].
With all its products, the company aims to adopt an aggressive pricing strategy, aided by the lower operating costs of its global, distributed workforce and agile social and affiliate-led marketing activity.
